This is such a great place! Obviously I had to visit Daytona Beach and the well-known racetrack. I took a tour round the racetrack, taking a look at the pitstops and there is an IMAX cinema where you can envision you're racing around the track. The museum also has something called Acceleration Alley where you are able to interactively race.

Florida has a lot to offer including some great restaurants.  A few of them had been exceptional like Caps around the water and Santa Maria. I did eat a lot but burn off the calories on the beach doing watersports.  When on the beach I discovered out concerning the turtles that lay their eggs around the beach then leave.  Following two months the turtles hatch and go in to the sea.  I wish i'd noticed that. It wasn't the proper time of year though.

While in Eastern Florida it was really warm and sunny.  Although there are hurricanes I never saw one and am truly glad I did not!

I was looking forward to going to the Florida Keys and I wasn't disappointed.  They're really spectacular and all connected by 1 long bridge Due to the bridge I was in a position to visit some of the lesser recognized spots and saw some truly memorable places of interest.

Mallory Square is fantastic and filled with street entertainers and is ideal for all those who like to people watch like me.  The street entertainers do a smashing job and will keep you entertained for hours on finish.  They require tipping although simply because this is how they make their cash. The Ernest Hemmingway house and museum dedicated to his function is nicely worth a visit for a few hours.  For someone like me who's so interested in his life and function, it was like heaven.

Another factor is the turtle hospital.  Due to the fabulous sea life there are some turtles that get ill or injured so the hospital appears following them prior to releasing them into the wild.  It was a very educational and fascinating location. I learned an excellent deal about turtles during my go to.

An additional animal themed location worth a visit will be the dolphin rescue centre. A lot just like the turtle hospital, the dolphins are sick and are being nursed back to health prior to becoming released into their natural environment.   

There is another bridge that goes south of Marathan and gives you the chance to determine the fantastic water and sea life.  This bridge requires you more than some stunning sea water and also you will see dolphins and turtles in their natural habitat.  Unfortunately the way the bridge is built it means you cannot get to take any snaps but I believe I'll remember everything I saw forever without the require for pictures.

The overseas highway runs the 110 mile length of the Keys and tends to make getting around very easy by vehicle.  You are able to also get the boat but I preferred driving so I could quit off and go to a few of the more unusual locations. There's a great deal to do right here and Important West was certainly one of my favourite islands.

When heading south out of marathan I went more than the 7 mile bridge.  When travelling you'll see some fantastic sea life like dolphins and turtles swimming freely in the water. 1 unfavorable was that there was nowhere to stop and take any photos but to become honest I will by no means neglect the fantastic images from the dolphins swimming side by side.

Following a fortnight of visiting theme parks in Florida I cannot very decide which 1 was my favourite.  There was some thing that I loved about all of them but maybe these 4 will be most memorable.

• Disney world
• Sea World
• Gator land
• Universal Studios

Universal Studios was excellent because I got to determine loads of the Tv characters wandering round the park and also a 4D film. The characters had been so friendly and usually prepared to possess their picture taken with both adults and kids.

I had heard Disney world called the happiest place on earth and they had been right!  The queue to obtain in was a bit lengthy but once in I was so happy I cannot quite describe it.  The staff had been so friendly and keen to help, every wish was taken care of.  The disneyworld parade was excellent as well, all the characters dressed up and went past on floats, waving and blowing kisses. The rides had been very great and there was some thing for everybody.

Gator land is not filled with rides or special effects but is filled with gators for as far as you are able to see. I saw gators doing tricks as well as ate some at a restaurant there! It is not probably the most ethical of locations as regards animal welfare but I've seen worse.

Sea World was fantastic.  I fed dolphins, ate my dinner feet away from a killer whale and saw polar bear and penguins. I even had lunch subsequent towards the training pool so was literally feet away from the killer whale when it passed by.  It was really strange to determine such animals inside a hot environment though.

You will find a lot of theme parks in Florida, you would need months to do everything there is to complete.Next time I'll need to rent a car in Florida and go back ti visit the rest of this amazing area!
